Giveaway Rules

Purpose of the giveaway: To showcase work created using our resources and to increase awareness of our services. 

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram. It is solely sponsored by the Harold B. Lee Library Media Center. 

Winners will be notified by April 15th via social media. They can pick up their prize from the Media Center desk (4th floor HBLL). 

The prize details are as follows:

• Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones (Defiant Black-Red): $240 value
• Wireless Noise Cancelling Sport Earbuds Bluetooth 4.1 with Mic ($20 value) 

Winners will be selected using a random number generator. 

Criteria for eligibility:

• must be a current BYU student
• cannot be an employee of or related to an employee of the Media Center 
• must be your own original work
• must be willing to let us feature your work on our social media accounts
• work must not contain any content that conflicts with the BYU honor code
• no purchase necessary

Rules for Beats giveaway:

• may submit up to three unique entries
• one or more Media Center resources must be used in the creation of each entry
• must post work to Instagram or Facebook, note which Media Center resource was used to create it, and tag @hbllmedia in the post
• entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on 3/30/19

• graphic/digital work created on one of the Media Center computers
• video or photos created in our production studio
• audio recording created in on of our sound booths
• photos or video taken on equipment check-out gear
• video created using our video editing computers
• work created using software learned in one of our software training classes

• must comment on our giveaway post and tag up to 20 friends (each tag = 1 entry)
• must follow our page on Instagram @hbllmedia
• entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on 3/30/19
